Awaab's Law evidence pack software for English social landlords
Awaab EvidenceOS tracks statutory clocks, evidence gaps, source custody,
redaction status and review readiness across existing repairs, complaints,
tenant-communication and contractor systems.
It supports evidence review and operational control. It does not guarantee compliance,
legal outcomes, Ombudsman outcomes or litigation results.
Why the evidence layer matters
Social landlords already operate housing management, repairs, contact-centre,
contractor and complaints tools. Awaab EvidenceOS is designed as an overlay
for the statutory-clock and evidence questions that cut across those systems:
when the landlord became aware, what deadline applied, which source proves an
action, what is still missing, and whether the pack is ready for review.
What the pack records
Clock milestones with statutory citations and due/completion status.
Evidence completeness gaps for investigation, summaries, safety work and
accommodation triggers.
Source register entries with hashes where a hashable artefact exists.
Tenant, contractor, no-access, proof-link and pack-review audit rollups.
Record access context without treating a missed appointment as tenant fault:
tenant responses and contractor updates are evidence for review.
Submission-readiness checks that separate blockers from review-needed issues.
Designed to sit beside existing systems
The product direction is an evidence and statutory-clock overlay that
works across Civica Cx, NEC/Northgate, MIS ActiveH, M3 and Aico HomeLINK, plus
shared inboxes, contractor portals and complaints exports.
Awaab's Law FAQ for evidence teams
What Awaab's Law deadlines should a social landlord evidence?
For phase 1, the public GOV.UK guidance and 2025 regulations make evidence
teams focus on investigation within 10 working days for significant damp
and mould hazards, a written summary within 3 working days of the
investigation concluding, relevant safety works within 5 working days, and a
24 hours response for emergency hazards. Awaab EvidenceOS tracks whether the
record contains sources for these operational steps; it does not decide legal
compliance.
Does Awaab EvidenceOS replace a repairs or housing management system?
No. It is designed as a statutory-clock and evidence-pack overlay for existing
repairs, complaints, tenant-communication, contractor and inbox workflows.
Can the evidence pack guarantee an Ombudsman or legal outcome?
No. It supports operational review, source custody and conservative pack
preparation. It does not guarantee legal compliance, litigation outcomes,
regulator acceptance or Ombudsman findings.
